Thank you to Rep. Holly Rehder, Rep. Bill White, Rep. Bill Lant, and Sen. Dan Brown for introducing new legislation to bring a common sense right-to-work law to Missouri.
In a recent study, the Heritage Foundation found states that have passed right-to-work have considerably lower unemployment rates. Furthermore, it found that requiring compulsory dues does not increase workers' overall standard of living.
Without right-to-work, Missouri will continue to lag behind neighboring states like Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Tennessee, which have already passed the legislation.
Right-to-work is one of the best ways that Missouri can strengthen our economy, and 2017 can be the year that we adopt this common sense policy.
