Union bosses have filed a total of ten initiative petitions seeking to ban Right to Work.
Tellingly, the language they chose makes it clear that their concern in this matter is solely for their own bottom line – every single one of the ten versions they have filed deals primarily with protecting clauses requiring mandatory dues, representation fees, or “support” (another euphemism for mandatory dues) from workers.
The measures are currently in their public comment period, and we encourage you to let your voice be heard. You can comment on each initiative on the Secretary of State’s website, http://www.sos.mo.gov/petitions/2018comment
We will be monitoring the situation and will keep you updated about any legal challenges that may arise.
